Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pharmacy Manager, Investigational Pharmacy. In this role, the successful candidate Supervise, oversee investigational pharmacy staff and operations including investigational medication reviews and dispensing to patients within State and Federal guidelines and the conduction of clinical trials involving investigational drugs. Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for filling and checking compounded prescriptions. * Performs other duties as assigned. * May serve as the supervising pharmacist on the board of pharmacy license for the site. * Acts as the inter/intra department liaison in collaborations with nursing, ancillary department directors and medical staff . * As the shift or assigned area point person, guides pharmacists and technicians in the performance of their duties and provides clinical/distributive guidance on standard methodologies, best practices and guidelines to include re-directing staff to accommodate first doses, stock outs, stats and other emergencies. * Security of the Pharmacy. * Nursing station reviews. * Training and monitoring of Pharmacy Technicians. * Documents and maintains pharmaceutical records. * Provides drug information and consultation. * Dispensing of medications. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree NYS Pharmacy License and Registration Good Communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of two years as a Research Pharmacist /or as an Oncology Pharmacist PLUS clinical trial research experience. Required Licenses: Pharmacist License-NYS Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Board Certification (BPS) PGY-1 Advanced degree in pharmacy related field Experience in hematology oncology and infusion center operations preferred. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $173,003.13 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
