Role: LPN - Quality Assurance Nurse (New Grads are welcome to apply)Location: Flagstaff, AZShift:  8:00 AM to 5:00 PMDuration: 35 weeksSchedule: 40 hours per week/ 5 days Job Description:<ul><li>Implements policies and procedures pertaining to quality assurance using guidelines such as nursing home regulations, facility practices, evidenced-based practice, complaints, audits, observation and other informational sources</li><li>Gathers and analyzes data through audits, interviews and other activities to monitor compliance of all disciplines, departments, and services with applicable policies and procedures, standards and regulations</li><li>Reviews monthly CASPER (Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reporting) report and develops Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) based PIPs (performance improvement plans) where needed</li><li>Prepares, distributes and interprets reports, statistical analyses, data summaries and other written information to facility staff pertaining to the activities of QAPI</li><li>Prepares periodic reports summarizing the status of facility compliance with established goals and measures set for quality assurance</li><li>Assists supervisors /managers in developing and implementing corrective action plans</li><li>Monitors and reports on facility’s plans for correcting deficiencies identified by surveying agencies</li><li>Ensures that facility meets state, federal, and Veteran's Administration (VA) regulations</li><li>Ensures facility's policies and procedures meet regulations and are consistent with the facility’s practices</li><li>Investigates incidents of non-compliance</li><li>Works with the Administrator in investigating allegations of abuse, neglect, and mistreatment of residents</li><li>Coordinates facility preparation for surveys</li><li>Chairs and coordinates internal Quality Assurance Committee meeting as well as the Infection Control Committee meeting</li><li>Identifies training needs and develops and implements educational programs for staff related to quality assurance and compliance education and re-education</li><li>Utilizes assessment and scheduling protocol to evaluate quality of training and ensure that staff is adequately trained to meet desired outcomes</li><li>Maintains records to document training and compliance with regulations</li><li>Coordinates provision of Information for regulatory surveyors with Administrator and Director of Nursing</li><li>Map out all infections with McGeer and non-McGeer criteria to provide for timely tracking and trending</li><li>Conduct infection control surveillance daily rounds to confirm compliance with individual care plans for residents with infections by facility staff</li><li>Keep abreast of any current information and attend educational opportunities to assist in role such as provided by CMS and CDC</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Requires current license to practice in Arizona as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.</li><li>Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card</li><li>Infection Preventionist Certification required</li><li>In-state travel; valid AZ Driver's License is required</li><li>CPR/BLS Card</li><li>TB Skin Test/ 2 Step TB Test </li><li>Drug Test</li><li>COVID Vaccines Card</li></ul>

5–8-hour shifts with room for negotiation at maximum of 4–10-hour shifts.

The client would prefer a healthcare professional with interventional radiology experience. For context, the unit typically trains radiologic technologists from other modalities for up to six months when they begin in neuro IR.

Role: Cath Lab TechLocation: Rochester, NYShift:  10- hour Day shiftDuration: 13 weeksSchedule: 40 hours per week/ 4 days Job Description:  The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must be able to anticipate equipment required during procedures, operate quipment, and maintain sterile instruments. Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) ‘s will be required to function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are a must. Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824.<ul><li>Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever.</li><li>Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo </li><li>Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty.</li><li>Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required.</li><li>Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT)</li></ul>Must Haves:<ul><li>2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience</li><li>RCIS</li><li>BLS</li><li>ACLS</li></ul>
