After reading all the negative reviews I felt the need to try and set the record straight. I have only been travelling for about a year, but as most travelers will tell you, I've already learned a lot in that year. NuWest is the first agency I've worked for that consistently exceeds my expectations. I have a contract that feels perfect for me, with a rate of pay that is higher than any other agency I've worked with. The stipend is generous and matches the cost of living in the city I am working in. And they actually have health insurance that works well and costs about half of what I was paying before for less coverage. When my contract is over I hope to keep working for NuWest. A travel partner and I applied for a travel position in South Dakota with Christopher Riley throughout NuWest on Aug 8th. We were told all submissions were to be turned in by Aug 24th and we would hear something soon after. Well come to find out NuWest never had the contract for this job, it was just a bid for their company to get the contract. Trust me we aren’t upset about that, we are upset that he never told us this and had us waiting 7 WEEKS along with signing a letter of intent that we wouldn’t look for another job. We only found this out when another company had listed the job and we applied for it through them. He was rude to the both of us when we asked about possibly applying for other jobs since this one was taking so long and he threatened to pull our applications for South Dakota. He was never transparent with us. Every time we asked what was taking so long there was a new excuse such as building another wing in the hospital. During this time we tried to reach out to NuWest and left multiple voicemails and emails with no response. Once NuWest didn’t get the bid, Christopher Riley stopped responding entirely to us. Nurses be warned!

My original recruiter left Nuwest with about a month left in my contract. I had already told my manager on assignment that I was not extending my contract. Christopher sent in a contract extension without communicating with me and then lied to the manager on assignment that "I changed my mind" about not extending my contract. When I texted him he told me that he had mixed me up with another traveler. After that haven't heard anything from the company. My contract ended last week and no one has contacted me about another assignment.

I asked about a position over a week ago. I never heard from him so I just texted him again asking if he's still working. He answered with, how can I help you?  Which is fine. I then asked again about the position I was interested in. He said it was taken and that he called me and left a message. I asked what number he called from. I looked in my phone log with that number and last time we spoke was back in August. I asked about a position on September 7th. And followed up today with it to only get a lie saying he texted lol. Bro you last spoke to me a month ago. No messages either. Don't lie. He is lazy. I told him what I wanted and he never got back to me. Must be nice. He must have his following he looks out for. If you are not one. Get a new recruiter. He sucks
