Critical Care Nursing Certification\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Credential: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vivian.com\/certifications\/ccrn\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CCRN<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cost of certification can range from $130-$215<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This certification gives you specialized knowledge that allows you to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Need to be a practicing Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced-Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for at least five years<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must have worked a minimum of 1,750 hours of direct care of critical care patients as an RN\/APRN within two years of applying for the certification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Out of the 1,750 hours, 850 hours need to be within one year of applying for certification<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must have practiced at least 2,000 hours of indirect patient care and 144 of those hours within one year of applying for certification<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>2.
