OU Health traces its roots back to the founding of the University of Oklahoma School of Pharmacy in 1899, the College of Medicine in 1910 and the School of Nursing in 1911.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OU Health&#8217;s facilities have a similarly rich history. In 1919, the University of Oklahoma built the original University Hospital for use as a training facility for University of Oklahoma medical, pharmacy and nursing students.
