Vivian Health celebrates nurses every day, so we\u2019re especially excited to honor these devoted professionals during National Nurses Week, May 6 \u2013 12, 2025. We’re proud to applaud all nurses with a week designed to recognize their careers and celebrate their accomplishments. \nWhat Is National Nurses Week 2025?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

National Nurses Week is an annual event that begins on National Nurses Day, May 6, and ends on Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. To support and honor nurses around the nation, May 8 became National Student Nurses Day in 1998 and we celebrate National School Nurses Day on the Wednesday that falls within National Nurses Week.<\/p>\n

Each year, the American Nurses Association (ANA) leads the celebration to honor nurses. For the last few years, ANA has championed a month-long celebration to provide more opportunities to show appreciation for the invaluable jobs nurses do. In 2023, ANA chose an evergreen theme, “You Make a Difference,” to highlight the positive work nurses do and their impact on our lives. They parlayed that into its 2024 theme, “Nurses Make the Difference.” For 2025, ANA has chosen “The Power of Nurses” for its theme.<\/p>\n
