The Clinic RN must possess a positive attitude as an expert in wound care # must be able to work well with the public by assisting customers, clients, physicians and associates in person and over the telephone. # Duties include providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management, and acts. Assist Case Manager RN#s with triage phone calls and other duties as assigned. This position will provide efficient and effective care with physician guidance in the out-patient hospital setting. # This position is responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients in the Wound Management Department under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. The RN will handle the higher level of care/patient assessment needs, such as triaging incoming phone calls, unscheduled visits and abnormal test results. This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED: Previous clinic experience License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses a current Illinois RN license and / or any other RN state license that employee is required to work.
