Facility Profile TGH is the area's only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. Department Profile Tampa General's Emergency and Wallace Trauma Center has six trauma rooms, including one dedicated to pediatric patients. The center has areas dedicated to minor emergencies, chest pain, stroke and a dedicated pediatric emergency care center which includes a pediatric waiting area. Our team of dedicated emergency care professionals provide patients with the highest quality care. Our highly qualified and experienced Aeromedical team includes RNs, Paramedics and EMTs. Our aviation partners, the pilots and mechanics, also are integral team members. In addition, TGH has a freestanding adult and pediatric emergency department in Brandon. Job Summary The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values. Required Skills High school diploma or G.E.D required. FL CNA license required; Hospital PCT/CNA experience required.
