1 nurse recommends working here
Pros
I worked as a staff nurse here. Staff and providers are friendly. Small town atmosphere, good teamwork. The managers of each unit were also good people, at least as of November 2023. Tish Wayne (OB manager) and Katie Budack (ER manager) were especially nice.
Cons
Small town atmosphere can also be a negative. Some staff blur the lines of HIPAA when sharing about people they know from the community. And even though the night shift staff will talk about anything and EVERYTHING, I don't advise sharing any personal details that aren't very cishet, monogamous, mainstream. They won't tell YOU but they will tell management that it makes them uncomfortable.

Half a star would be too much
Terrible place to work as far as the hospital goes. Nasty back-biting culture perpetuated by unit managers. If you have an opinion or provide new ideas and approaches backed by evidence based practice, you are NOT welcomed. Do not go against the status quo or you will be made to feel less than. I didn't work to make friends, but I didn't deserve their poor treatment of me. I've heard the clinic is good to work for though.
