RN Infection Control Preventionist Job Summary:

The RN Infection Preventionist facilitates and coordinates facility-wide Infection Prevention programs for the Hospital and Sub-Acute Rehabilitation (SNF) to assure compliance with local and national regulatory and accrediting standards in order to enhance the quality of patient care consistent with facility policies for the adult to geriatric patient.

The position provides surveillance throughout facility for infection control purposes, coordinates all infection prevention and control activities and programs by assuming direct responsibility for infection surveillance, infection control reporting, and education.

In addition, the position identifies, investigates and records data concerning hospital acquired infections; initiates appropriate infection control measures; oversees records of department activities and budget; works with Human Resources and Staff Development to educate employees in standard precautions and infection prevention practices.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors Degree in nursing, microbiology, Public Health or other related health field required. Masters degree in Nursing preferred. Certification in Infection Control preferred.

Licenses/Certification: Current State RN - Registered Nurse license. Certified in infection control (CIC) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years progressive acute care experience to include at least three in infection control and prevention preferred.

Wound Care RN Job Summary:

BridgePoint Hospital is seeking a Wound Care Nurse - RN. The Wound Care Nurse - RN implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. Provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses, and acts as consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff. Performs wound care functions under the oversight of a Wound Care Coordinator.

RN Wound Care, WOCN, Wound Ostomy, Hospital Wound Care, Registered Nurse Wound Care, Wound Vac

Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Program. BSN Preferred.

Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse - RN. Current BLS certification. Wound care certificate from ANCC accredited program within one year of hire.

Experience: Five (5) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting with at least two (2) years in wound care management.
