WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Labor & Delivery RN  to join a high‑performing  L&D team at a respected hospital in Salem, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Function:

• Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights Rotating.
• Assess and categorize patients into the  appropriate level  of care.
• Apply and interpret  external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
• Implement  timely  interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition.
• Identify  and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately.
• Administer medications safely  in accordance with  the  Five Rights  and infection‑control standards.
• Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines.
• Assist  physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN experience
• Experience required in:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Postpartum
  • Newborn Care
  • Circulating
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS required
• NRP required
• EFM certification required (renewed every 2 years for L&D)
• ACLS preferred
