WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Salem, MA. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.

Job Function:

• Shift: 40 hrs | 5x8 Rotating Day/Evenings.
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR.
• Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover.
• Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Handle and label specimens according to policy.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards.
• Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Job Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS (AHA) required
• BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• 1–2 years OR nursing experience
• Must be able to circulate independently
• Strong aseptic technique required
• Multispecialty OR experience required
• Experience with Mako and da Vinci surgical systems preferred
