WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Rome, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care  environment.

Job Function:

• Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights | 7pm-7am.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate,  monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document.  electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• 1–2 years of Step-Down and/or Telemetry RN experience required
• Strong ability to manage higher-acuity medical-surgical patients
