Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Rocky Mount, NC working in an outpatient setting. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise discipline-specific therapy services, and educate patients, families, students and coworkers. Maintain professional licensure, complete timely documentation, and participate in performance improvement activities. Uphold patient and employee safety practices and organizational values.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active North Carolina physical therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Experience with comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, functional treatment plans, and documentation compliant with state and federal guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising students and providing clinical education.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and materials handling protocols.
- Demonstrated participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 40 hours per week with M/W/F 7:00–16:00 and T/Th 8:00–17:00.
- Assignment duration: 13-week assignment (minimum 12 weeks noted in client description).
