RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 3 12-hour shifts per schedule
• Provide care for acute care patients in a 24-bed unit
• Patient ratio of 6-7 patients to 1 nurse
• Floating is rare
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, CPI
• Must have experience with geriatric care or past inpatient rehabilitation experience with swing bed patients
• Advanced wound care skills needed
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Work with standard medical/surgical equipment
• No unit secretary, tech, or extra RN support when tech is unavailable
• Dress code: nursing staff wear all navy or navy top with white bottoms
• Provide concierge-level service to affluent community patient population
• Perform minor procedures on the unit
• Work in an environment with excellent culture and teamwork
