Description
Opportunity:
RN - Tele Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement, could be every 3rd weekend
• Work holidays into permanent staff rotation
• 1:4 patient ratio on 28-bed Tele Neuro 2B unit
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• CERNER experience and travel experience mandatory
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass UNA Dysrhythmia Exam prior to signing contract (2 maximum attempts)
• Pass/fail simulation lab on first day of orientation with study guides provided
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be able to interpret EKGs using GE monitors
• Floating to Cardiac Tele and/or MedSurg Oncology units
• 3 shifts of floor-specific orientation
• Care for patients with CVA post TPA, TIAs, head bleeds, carotids, thoracotomies, AICDs, and post-surgical patients requiring telemetry
• First to float and may float to sister facility CRMC
• CERNER charting system experience required
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
