RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekend and weekday call requirements
• Rotating weekday call with evening call shifts from 6:45 PM to 11:15 PM
• One or two weekend calls every six-week schedule consisting of three or four call shifts
• 30-minute response time required for call
• Call rooms available at the hospital
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) required, ACLS (AHA) preferred
• Must provide unexpired copy of driver's license with all submissions
• Work in 13 operating rooms and 2 minor procedure rooms
• Handle 60-70 cases per day on average with varying case volumes
• Experience with general surgery, OB/GYN, neurology, vascular, endovascular, orthopedics, plastics, interventional pain, ENT, ophthalmology, and DaVinci robot procedures
• Strong surgical background preferred
• Scrubbing skills are a plus
• Floating requirements based on comfort level and service line experience
• Usually requires 2 shifts of OR orientation with additional shifts if needed
• Paired with experienced staff during initial call shifts
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Documentation completed in EPIC electronic medical record system
• Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
• BSN not required
