Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• 32-bed telemetry unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Float to MSO and ON units as needed
• Common diagnoses include CHF, Afib with RVR, hypoxia/SOB, fluid overload, non-life threatening arrhythmias, and hypertension
• Work with stable airway/tracheostomy patients not requiring frequent suctioning
• Assist with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
• Provide intermittent BiPAP or CPAP support
• Perform assessment activities or therapeutic interventions not more than every 4 hours
• Work with equipment including TR bands, IV pumps, wound vacs, chest tubes, PCA, and epidural pumps
• Titrate vasoactive drips including Nitroglycerin up to 90mcg (chest pain only) and Amiodarone bolus/gtt
