Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care for patients in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Handle medical-surgical patients including SNF and LTAC transfers and end of life care patients
• Float to other medical-surgical or PCU units as needed and take unit-appropriate assignments
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Must have current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
