Description
Opportunity:
RN - CCU
Job Details:
• Float to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID
• Patient ratio of 2:1 on ICUs for all shifts
• Float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more than 1:3
• May be utilized as patient sitter if needed when census is low in ICU
• Every other weekend required
• 2 years of experience required
• Will not accept first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI
• Required skills: Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation
• Preferred skills: Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience
• Preferred cardiac skill set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, CRRT
• Does not require specific CVICU experience
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system (experience preferred)
• Free parking available
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics (rare adolescents 16-18 years old)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
