Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating 0800-1000 start times
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule period as needed
• Work primarily rotating between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• Manage complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
• Care for surgical patients including GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT
• Handle pre/post interventional radiology procedures
• Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry
• 1 year of experience required with critical care experience or Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Navy scrubs required
• No locals accepted within 75-mile radius
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• 40 hours of orientation required
