Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• 14-bed emergency department facility
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Possibility of floating to Main Augusta campus located approximately 3 miles away
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Spring break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
• Travel experience required
• Skills include STEMI/stroke certified facility work, intubation, dysrhythmia management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, IV management, procedural sedation, neuro-trauma care, ventilated patient care, and triage

Facility:

This is a small emergency department located just 3 miles from a larger main campus hospital. The facility maintains a 24-hour ambulance on-site for immediate transport of patients requiring higher levels of care. The emergency department features modern equipment including Epic charting system, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitoring. The facility provides virtual wound care services and utilizes vending machines for meal options. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
