Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care for adolescent to geriatric patients on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor
• Work with respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio on 36-bed unit with average daily census of 30
• Titrate cardiac drips with continuous telemetry monitoring
• Manage PCU level patient assignments
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Work major holidays as required (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment period)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Wear navy blue scrubs
• Maximum 7 days RTO with Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, neuro stepdown care, and various nursing procedures

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
