RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio: 6 patients during days, nights, and weekends
• Work every other weekend
• No call required
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 36 patients
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• GA or Compact license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Patient diagnoses include general medical surgical and peritoneal dialysis
• Skills required: Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Telemetry, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Holiday requirements: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Full compliance required to start on time
