Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Block scheduling with approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week assignment
• Call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday in the call rotation
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Required to assess patients' medical history and current condition to prepare them for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain a safe environment, adhere to universal precautions, and utilize personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare team including physicians and technicians to support smooth procedures
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures
• Graduate from radiology technology, respiratory therapy, cardiovascular technology program, or appropriately recognized paramedic program required
• 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience, 1-2 years of radiology technical experience, 2 years paramedic experience, or >2 years of critical care or emergency department nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience and 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (CPR), ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT R, ARRT VI, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles (no locals accepted)
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation
