RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM and 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Occasionally work 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM to fill in as needed
• Every third weekend schedule required
• Minimum of 5 years emergency room experience required
• Provide care for pediatric to geriatric patient population
• Treat common diagnoses including abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, car accidents, slip and falls, and farm accidents
• Blood draw experience preferred for trauma situations
• Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
• Must have reliable personal transportation (no Uber/Lyft services available)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be issued through American Heart Association
• Nebraska RN license or compact state license required
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Orientation consists of three days classroom training and one preceptor shift

Facility:

This critical access hospital features a modern emergency department built in 2016 with comprehensive trauma capabilities. The facility includes one triage room, five patient rooms, one OBGYN exam room, and two trauma bays, handling approximately 5,000 visits annually. The hospital provides emergency stabilization and transfers critical patients to larger medical centers when intensive care is required, as they do not maintain an ICU on-site.
