Opportunity:

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional and clinical knowledge in patient care management
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• 16-hour shifts with guaranteed hours
• Work every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios of 3:1
• Handle outpatient surgeries and infusion patients
• Administer infusion medications including blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics (no chemotherapy)
• Perform some medication titrations
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• CERNER and EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Must be a mandatory reporter
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
