Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
• Position patient and equipment appropriately to accurately demonstrate the area being examined using extensive anatomic positioning skills
• Provide appropriate radiation protection for patient and staff during radiation exposures according to prescribed safety standards
• Adjust technical factors to provide appropriate exposure using independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, disease effects on radiographs, and radiation principles
• Operate all radiologic equipment within the department safely and effectively
• 2+ years of X-Ray experience required
• Must be highly proficient in hospital setting including ER, Inpatient, Fluoro, and OR
• No call responsibilities
• No weekends or holidays required
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current to 1 year pertinent to radiology technology required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Facility will not consider local candidates within 50-mile radius
