Opportunity:

RN - SBH : RNLVL4 : OR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with no weekends
• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week (not negotiable)
• 13-week assignment duration
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• New York RN license required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Support coordination, integration, communication, implementation and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies
• Participate in site and organizational quality and performance improvement activities
• Collect patient healthcare data using appropriate assessment techniques and instruments
• Collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collect patient health history and record information in electronic health record
• Administer medications including vaccinations, IV therapy, and oxygen administration
• Provide comprehensive wound care and perform phone and in-person patient triage
• Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
• Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants and technicians
• Perform onsite testing including POC lab testing, EKG, specimen collection, and spirometry
• Assist with minor and major procedures
• Start and discontinue peripheral IV lines and maintain IV therapy
• Provide patient education and health counseling
• Manage clinical in-baskets and ensure encounters are closed in a timely manner
