Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech X-ray

Job Details:

• Function as a Multi modality Tech I providing diagnostic patient care services in multiple Radiology modalities
• Independently operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic examinations using multiple modalities
• Must be actively and consistently working in more than one modality
• Follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely
• Demonstrate competency in patient and technical imaging skills while maintaining highest standards of patient care
• Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
• Perform all applicable equipment quality control and accurately record database/log records
• Maintain daily operations of assigned department including patient schedule, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment
• Report equipment failures and maintain compliance with state and federal agencies
• Use administrative skills to enter and complete correct billing codes in the RIS
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently
• Required certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality
• Ohio state license required
• Associate's Degree or completion of accredited 2-year program in Radiologic Technology required
• 1+ years experience in first Radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation preferred
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and constant eye/hand/foot coordination
