Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work as a Multi Modality Technologist I providing diagnostic patient care services in multiple radiology modalities
• Operate imaging equipment independently and perform diagnostic examinations using multiple modalities
• Must be actively and consistently working in more than one modality
• Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
• Follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely
• Perform equipment quality control and accurately record database/log records
• Enter and complete correct billing codes in the RIS system
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and instruct students and new staff after 1 year of experience
• Required certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certification in at least one modality
• Must be licensed by the state of Ohio
• Education requirement: Associate's degree or completion of accredited 2-year radiologic technology program
• Preferred: 1+ years experience in first radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and constant repetitive motions
