Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. X-Ray Technologist - X-Ray Technologist

Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic imaging at the direction of physician protocol
• Provide compassionate age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
• Adhere to hospital safety standards and ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely standards
• Follow all radiation and fluoroscopic safety standards
• Demonstrate successful patient/technical imaging skills by producing variety of radiological procedures
• Perform all applicable equipment Quality Control procedures
• Accurately record all requested database/log records
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies
• Use administrative skills to enter and complete correct billing codes in the RIS
• Work independently and demonstrate ability to instruct students and new staff after 1 year of experience
• Associate's degree from accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program required
• Previous Registered X-Ray Technologist experience preferred
• Required certifications: Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R), Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT:R) Ohio Department of Health, and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must have clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and constant repetitive motions
