Days Shift - 12 hours
Bestica is looking for a Travel Nurse RN Progressive Care (PCU) nurse for a 13-week contract in Albuquerque, NM
Requirements:
2 years’ experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
At alternate location-Will float to med/surg.
Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.
Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Must Be Currently Active State License
Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment.
Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

Other Information:
12 hour Day shift position - start time 0700 Shift length - 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
1ST week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs - required and not provided by the facility.
Float - all travelers within CDS are required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients.
