The University of Miami UHealth Tower 7 North & South has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse 2.

The Registered Nurse 2 delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care.

Oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice.

Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices.

Directs and guides patient and family teaching.

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree.

Registered Nurse License

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-CPR Certification )

ACLS

Two (2) years Medical Surgical Nursing experience
