American Traveler is offering a traveling RN Pediatric ICU assignment in Portland OR
Job Duties: Pediatric ICU RNRNs in Pediatric ICU nursing jobs provide comprehensive services to children recovering from orthopedic, cardiac, neurologic, and general surgeries, as well as care for children with chronic illness, single or multi-organ failure, or patients undergoing organ transplants. Candidates for Pediatric ICU travel nurse jobs should have experience in technologically-advanced pediatric intensive care units (PICU) as well as both surgical and ICU units. Duties of Pediatric ICU nursing jobs include the prioritization and monitoring of patients with high-acuity conditions and the reporting of results to the pediatrician. PICU RNs also act as liaisons between the physicians and the patients’ families as well as other medical staff. Pediatric ICU nurses are in high demand at hospitals nationwide and the travel positions offer high wages, full benefits, company-provided private housing, and the rewarding opportunity to make a difference in children's lives.
Essential Qualifications- All Registered Nurse candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid professional license within the state of practice
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
- RN positions require at least one year experience in a like setting.
