Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in an Admission Discharge Transition Unit, requiring a minimum of 12 months of recent experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Admission Discharge Transition Unit (ADTU) within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 48 standard hours per week
• Weekend rotation of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating required to all Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 12 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required, with most recent experience within the last year
• Epic EMR experience
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to work 75% of assigned holidays
• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Local candidates are accepted — no radius rule applies, same rate offered regardless of proximity to facility
