Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital in Denver, CO
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
- NRP and PALS certifications required (AHA-issued, must not expire prior to start date)
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Documents nursing care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- RTO requests will be approved within reason
- BSN is preferred but not required
