Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1+ year of L&D experience, night shift availability, and a high weekend commitment.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 10 weekend shifts required per 8-week period (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are included in weekend rotation)
• 1–3 on-call shifts required per 8-week period
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO single-state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and either AWHONN or C-EFM — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for L&D patients
• Performs patient consultation, health teaching, health counseling, delegation, supervision, and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent employees of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
