Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med-Surg/ED Nights position at a Critical Access Hospital in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting combining Med-Surg and Emergency Department coverage
• Patient population includes adult med-surg, ortho/spine post-op, and emergency cases
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license (CO or compact) required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and TNCC — all must be current
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Spine/ortho post-op patient experience required, with emphasis on Med-Surg
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 65 miles from the facility — local travelers will not be considered
• No holiday time off — must be available to work all holidays
• Facility housing may be available as a shared 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment — no pets and no smoking permitted
