Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging experience for a weekend night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an advanced MRI department supporting both inpatient and outpatient imaging
• Primary focus on oncology, neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Average daily census is 35–40 cases
• Proficiency with PACS and Siemens MRI equipment is required
• EMR charting is done in EPIC
• Schedule consists of Friday to Sunday night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Responsibilities include performing complex MRI examinations and advanced post-processing studies
• You will work independently on night shifts with support from the department team
• Adherence to Ohio fingerprinting requirements is mandatory prior to assignment start
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former employees must have a 6 month break before returning as a traveler
• Current employees are not eligible for traveler positions at this facility
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to contract
• Scrub color or dress code will be communicated prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT certification and current BLS required
• Ohio state license required if applicable
• Experience with Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care MRI procedures
• Proficiency in imaging the abdomen, pelvis, chest, brain, face/neck, hip, knee, and shoulder
• Experience with special imaging procedures including fusion, gradient echo, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, surface coils, T1 & T2 weighted, and spine imaging (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Familiarity with EPIC for electronic charting
• Two professional references required, with one from a manager, director, or supervisor
