Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Unit includes four labor rooms, one operating room, separate postpartum facilities, and a nursery for infant testing or post-resuscitation care
• Hydrotherapy is available for pain management during labor
• Unit features a negative pressure room
• 12-hour night shifts with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted
• Provide nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Utilize advanced pain management options such as hydrotherapy
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team focused on maternal and infant health
• Strict radius rule prevents local candidates within 75 miles from being considered

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or compact RN license with proof of state residency
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent labor & delivery RN experience
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required within the last 2 years
