Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to join a Level I trauma center in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient environment serving emergency and operating rooms
• Setting includes a Level I trauma center, stroke accredited facility, and adult ICU
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion studies
• Handles a diverse patient population
• Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Works every third weekend
• Participates in on-call rotation approximately once every 6 weeks
• Responsibilities include performing CT scans, operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, supporting patient safety, keeping records, and following regulatory guidelines
• Works in a collaborative team within a fast-paced trauma environment
• Hospital scrubs are required
• Training and orientation provided on equipment and protocols
• Standard vaccination and health screenings may be required

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Advanced ARRT certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and on-call
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• License required if applicable
