Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to join a Level I trauma center in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient environment serving emergency and operating rooms
- Setting includes a Level I trauma center, stroke accredited facility, and adult ICU
- Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion studies
- Handles a diverse patient population
- Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Works every third weekend
- Participates in on-call rotation approximately once every 6 weeks
- Responsibilities include performing CT scans, operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, supporting patient safety, keeping records, and following regulatory guidelines
- Works in a collaborative team within a fast-paced trauma environment
- Hospital scrubs are required
- Training and orientation provided on equipment and protocols
- Standard vaccination and health screenings may be required
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Current ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and on-call
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- License required if applicable
