Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of direct IR experience and ARRT certification for a travel assignment in the Chicago, IL area.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a large health system hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• May be asked to float to a different unit or facility within the health system on rare occasions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted, though rates may vary based on proximity
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of profile submission and cannot be added afterward
• Any previous employment at Northwestern Medicine or any of its acquired facilities must be included in employment history
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the past year
• Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not currently listed as 'Eligible' in the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry may be required to travel to Illinois for mandatory fingerprinting prior to their start date
• Vaccination status must be included at the time of submission; medical and religious accommodation requests for required vaccines are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of direct Interventional Radiology experience
• ARRT (R) certification required; Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Illinois license required (no emergency or pending licensure accepted)
• BLS through AHA required
• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
• Proficiency with sterile technique, infection control, and isolation precautions/PPE
• PACS experience preferred
• License required if applicable
