Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience to work night shifts in a hospital CT department covering ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.

Details

• Located in the main building on the first floor of an acute care hospital
• CT department covers emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Staff team of approximately 10, consisting of full-time and PRN CT Techs on both day and night shifts
• Uses fixed CT equipment
• EMR is Meditech (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)
• Night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday through Wednesday
• Variable weekend coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months)
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) required
• Active license required if applicable
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Performs all ordered CT exams for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• A teamwork-oriented mindset is important for success in this unit
• Green scrubs required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
