Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring at least 2 years of CVOR and general OR experience, Epic proficiency, and a Louisiana or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM
- 9-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- CVOR and general OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- CPI certification can be obtained at the facility for $100 if not already held
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
