Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, requiring active CRT/RRT licensure and AHA-certified ACLS and BLS.

Details

  • Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 6:58 PM
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CRT or RRT state license (license required if applicable)
  • Current AHA-certified ACLS and BLS
  • Must be an experienced RT; new graduates will not be considered
  • Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have sufficient RT experience
  • All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Upon assignment start, the unit manager may designate travelers to an Emergency Team, which may require remaining at the facility during or after an emergency event or serving on a relief team
  • Candidates who are not comfortable with potential emergency team assignments should not apply for this role
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
  • Locals within 65 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
