Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care position in Vestal, NY, requiring at least 1 year of LTC or related experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

• State/government-run long-term care facility offering rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care
• Long-term care unit with a patient population that includes Alzheimer's and dementia residents
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:18–20 in a 300-bed facility
• Evening shift: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (2:30 PM – 10:45 PM)
• Every other weekend required upon center request
• Charting system is PointClickCare (PCC); experience not required
• No floating between units

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license in hand at time of consideration; no license encumbrances permitted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; recent experience in rehab, med/surg, or a hospital setting may also be considered
• Proof of license must be provided for consideration

• Scrub color: any solid color; closed-toe shoes required
• Shift and RTO requests cannot be changed or added after an offer is accepted — all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
• Cannot take every holiday off; some holiday coverage is expected
• Call-outs must be reported with more than 24 hours' advance notice
• Upon offer acceptance, Relias training modules will be sent via email within 48 hours and must be completed no later than 3 days before the assignment start date
• Compliance process takes approximately 1.5–2 weeks
• No medication pass responsibilities for this role
