Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring Epic/Excellian proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• High-risk Labor & Delivery unit in an acute care, Magnet-recognized teaching hospital (Level 3 Trauma)
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day and night shifts available, scheduled as 3x12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00–19:30, Nights: 19:00–7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required to postpartum or affiliate hospitals nearby
• Charting performed in Epic (Excellian); experience required
• Scrubs are provided by the unit

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• High-risk L&D experience required
• Proficiency in Epic/Excellian EMR required
• Experience with C-sections/births, postpartum tubal ligations (PPTL), D&C, cerclage placement and removal, and waterbirths required
• At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been gone for at least 3 months from their last shift worked
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred for this assignment
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Parking fees apply for day/evening shift staff after the first day; night shift parking is complimentary
