Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (Outpatient) with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel contract history for a 13-week assignment in Bettendorf, IA.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting within a health system that includes multiple campuses across the region
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Orientation held every Monday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• At least 1 prior travel contract required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active Iowa PT license required; compact license accepted where applicable — license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel pay rates
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include contributing clinical knowledge and skills to patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Summer holidays: travelers are required to work 1–2 of the following 3 holidays — Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration; pending certifications will not be accepted
