Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Oncology position in Sioux City, IA, requiring prior travel experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Day shift position, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shifts in a hospital oncology/hematology unit
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Cares for oncology and hematology patients, including those with central venous access devices (CVADs)
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology/hematology RN experience required
- At least one completed travel contract required — first-time travelers will not be considered
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with CVADs required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years of employment or contract required for consideration
- Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
Additional Information
- Contributes clinical knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary care team
- Taxable address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify at the standard travel rate
- Travelers will be required to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
- Skills checklist completed within the past year is required
